The Nine Healthy Habits are a comprehensive approach to youth wellness that addresses physical, emotional and social health in nine, one-word habits so children can more easily identify and memorize. They are delivered in elementary schools as part of The First Tee National School Program and through The First Tee chapters’ Life Skills Experience.

How important is the mental aspect compared to the physical aspect of golf?
I believe the mental aspect of the game is equally important. It’s harder to judge and measure than say a golf shot or a putt, but a clear, direct and positive mind makes the difference. Golf is all about a strong mind. The mind can be trained and it’s imperative that you perceive a positive and successful attitude. A happy mind gives energy and results in confident body language.Details
