FACING YOUR FEARS
“In my junior events, I would purposely miss putts to come in second because I was so afraid to give a winner’s speech. I realized that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, and I slowly got over it because it would eat me not to give my best. When I overcame this, it was a big deal.”
“Early on in my career, I would write messages under my hat that only I could see. I remember one of them was ‘Face Your Fear’. I believe a lot of us have different fears in life, some big and some small that make us uncomfortable but it is important to learn how to process and deal with that fear so it doesn’t stop you from reaching your goals.”
