This month, we return to the ANA Inspiration at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. for the first "Share My Passion" Girls Golf Clinic of the new year. For the 2018 edition, we’ve partnered with the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) to host our free clinic on Sunday, March 25th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This unique event invites girls (ages 6-12) living in the state of California to write an open letter to Annika telling her why they love the game of golf and why other girls should learn how to play. From the letters submitted, 40 finalists will be chosen by Annika and her committee to attend the clinic.
The day is packed with fun-filled activities. The girls will start by rotating among four golf stations headed by SCGA junior staff members. Following the stations, they will be treated to a clinic and Q&A session with Annika. Then, the girls will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the ANA Inspiration media center to get a small taste of what it’s like to play on the LPGA Tour. Afterward, the girls have the option to watch the last few holes of the ANA Junior Inspiration with each pairing featuring an LPGA legend.
If you would like to participate, please fill out the player registration form for the clinic. All participants must be from California and between the ages of 6-12. The due date for letter submissions is March 15th.
