Yana Beeli and Balma Dávalos Guita Share the Lead at Halmstad Golf Club

Yana Beeli of Switzerland and Balma Dávalos Guita of Spain are tied for the lead going into the third and final round of ANNIKA Invitational Europe at Halmstad Golf Club – and Sweden’s Matilda Björkman trails by two strokes.

Mediterráneo Golf’s Balma Dávalos Guita and Yana Beeli from Switzerland both fired rounds of 70 during round two on the scenic north course at Halmstad Golf Club. They both sit at the top at 3-under-par for the tournament. Matilda Björkman from Kumla Golf Club is two strokes back at 1-under-par. Bjorkman finished tied for third at the 2022 ANNIKA Invitational Europe at Vasatorp Golf Club.

”I had a lot of ups and downs. I started with three birdies, then I had two bogies, but I’m happy with the round," said Balma Dávalos Guita, who finished third in the Campeonato de Puerta de Hierro Individual Femenino last month.

”I’m actually a little nervous because I don’t know what is going to happen, but I am so excited to play the final round,” the Spaniard added.

Annika was on site throughout the day doing media and taking in the action. After the round, the girls participated in a “More Than Golf” seminar where they learned about college recruitment and “Annika’s Approach to Life and Golf”. In the evening, the girls were treated to a tournament barbeque at the course to celebrate their final night together.

This girl is the one who inspired me and other young people when participating in the “More Than Golf” workshop. It was great to know her sharing with the physics driving game happy wheels
