17-year-old Yeram Kil of Korea remains in the lead after round two of the SERI PAK & ANNIKA Invitational Asia at Serenity Golf & Resort. After shooting a first-round 69, Kil maintained her spot atop the leaderboard, firing a 4-under-par 68 on day two.
Starting the day with a one-stroke lead, Kil had two birdies and a bogey on the front to put her one stroke back of Korea’s Haein Sung. However, Kil continued to fight back and shot 3-under on the back nine including a birdie to close out her round. She finished at 7-under-par.
Haein Sung had the low round of the day with a 5-under-par 68. Sung took advantage of moving day, starting at one-under-par and tied for third. Her second round consisted of seven birdies and two bogeys to surge to the top of the leaderboard. Sung sits in solo second at 6-under-par.
In third is China’s Kaili Xiao who moved up four spots after an impressive four birdies on the back nine to finish at 3-under-par.
The inaugural SERI PAK & ANNIKA Invitational Asia boasts a field featuring 78 players ages 13-18 from five different countries. The top-3 players will receive invitations to the 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex in Orlando, FL and the 2024 Seri Pak Desert Junior presented by Bay Area Lyme Foundation in Rancho Mirage, CA.
